I used my ESP-Mon project I published here, which puts your CPU and GPU usage/temps on an external little LCD, and connects to your PC via USB.
I took that and installed inside my all glass chassis such that the screen is behind the glass, and I have a USB adapter internally connecting it to the motherboard.
It's so neat! Now my PC has vital stats listed on the chassis instead of having to use a screen overlay.
My camera won't capture the contents of the screen, but that little LCD behind the glass on my case shows my CPU and GPU temps and usage.[^]

To err is human. Fortune favors the monsters.
